Forget the bow and arrow, in today’s world Cupid sports an iphone, chats over IM and “updates” his profile on sites like Myspace, Facebook, and Hi5. Beyond the traditional dating sites, Social Networks provide a trusted avenue in which you can “infiltrate”, presumably, inaccessible social circles.
A Poll conducted by Wadja (social site based out of Greece) suggests that:
(54%) of users are find love through social networking
(37%) of users flirt and meet new people through social networking
(58%) of those interviewed use social networking to keep in touch with friends
(87%) say their social lives would suffer without it.
(5%) believe their social life would not be affected without access to social networking sites.
