Airfare prices and availability fluctuate often and 2009 lurks around the corner with a recession anticipated to reach a zenith (peak) by the start of winter next year. Under the circumstances every dollar saved is a dollar earned. Often, we won’t pull the trigger on purchasing a flight in fear that we are not getting the best deal. Perhaps if we wait a couple of weeks maybe the price will come down; alternately, there are occasions when we jump the gun and purchase a plane ticket only to discover that if we would have been patience we could have gotten a great deal.

Sex vs. The Internet: Insight Into Gender Escapism by Steve Amarante

46%-That’s the percentage of women willing to give up sex for two weeks versus losing their Internet, only 30 percent of the men surveyed were willing to do similarly. The study, conducted by Intel via Harris Interactive, provide results as socially expected, with men, practically never turning down a sexual encounter; albeit 30% seems rather high in the face of a beautiful women naked in ones bed-- while women, with the Internet becoming such a significant part of their lives are seemly disinterested in sexual activity. A closer examination would reveal that the study is really a revelation of social gender “escapism” with men on one of spectrum and women on the other.
