Female Sexual Arousal A Function Of Both Body & Mind

Women's minds and genitals respond differently to sexual arousal, whereas in men, the responses of the body and mind are more in tune with each other, according to Assistant Professor Meredith Chivers, from Queen's University in Kingston, Canada.

Men's subjective and physiological measures of sexual arousal showed a greater degree of agreement than women's. For the male participants, the subjective ratings more closely matched the physiological readings indicating that men's minds and genitals were in agreement. For the women, however, the responses of the mind and genitals were not as closely matched as men's, suggesting a split between women's bodies and minds. The readings from the physiological measurements and their subjective ratings were, in some cases, significantly different.

The Maxim 2009 Sex Survey: Insight and Action Items By Steve Amarante

Maxim magazine recently published their annual sex survey (March, 2009). Leave it to the folks over at Maxim to ask those questions others considered “Taboo”.  The survey, conducted over the net, had over two thousand female participants. Below are some of the more relevant findings with some suggested implications and action items.

57.3 % of women met their current partner through a friend

Action Item: Treat every woman you encounter kindly—Hot often hangs out with Hot. The numbers suggest that you are more likely to find a date/significant other within a “circle of friends” vs. a bar or club.

Fighting Off The Forbidden Fruit & Recipe For Infidelity

As long as there’s some form of human interact between the sexes; sexual temptations will always exist. A recent study out of McGill University in Montreal suggest however that men may not see their sexual or playful advances with an attractive woman as threatening to their existing relationship while conversely women do. Researchers uncovered that women protect their relationship more when an attractive man enters the picture but men look more pessimistically at their partner after they've met an attractive woman.

Whether on a second or tenth date the first time a women comes over to your place she will always feel a bit out of her comfort zone. It stands that the more women are displaced from their comfort zone, and general the more they are threatened, the more they will search out that which is familiar. She is a creature of habits.
